This video displays a short tutorial on where to begin with the creation of a decent wallpaper.

 

This will allow you to create your own wallpaper with the use of photoshop. We intend to upload more videos with greater depth and a STEP-by-STEP walkthrough for creating the best wallpapers!

 

What you will need is:

 

1. Photoshop (preferably CS5 or CS6) these can both be downloaded from the source of your choosing.

2. Patience. (It's not easy starting from scratch but once you learn the basics you will get better at it rather quickly.)

3. PURE CREATIVITY! In order to create the desired look/ form/ contrast/ texture or feel. You will have to picture what it is you want and plan your steps at obtaining your goal.

4. HAVE FUN! Playing around mostly leads to undesired or unique effects that could in fact make your design one of a kind! And even be better than what you sought out to make/create.

5. Learn from mistakes- you will make many! Just undo the mistake and tone yourself into laying the correct path you want to go down.

6. Publish/Share your wallpaper with others! Make sure that other people can see your hard work and how it pays off in the end. It can be really rewarding if your design becomes the most popular one.
